Tomorrow, I leave for Patna, Bihar to visit the Palliative Care Service at Indira Ghandi Institute of Medical Sciences. The Institute was opened in 1983. Dr Vinod leads the team there. I am welcomed to the Institute to spend time learning about the palliative care service there, sharing experiences and helping to raise the levels of interest in and support for palliative care. I will be there for one week and will keep this blog as my diary of this first visit of Project Hamrahi.
